Situated in a wild flower meadow in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 1920s lovingly restored Railway Wagon brings you closer to nature. It is both private and secluded. 

As well as being insulated with sheep’s wool, the wagon has a wood burner (firewood provided) for keeping snug and warm on those wild wintry days. The sleeping area contains a king size bed complete with goose down duvet and pillows and Piglet linen for optimum off-grid sleeping. The outside area is centred around a fire-bowl. Outdoor furniture includes two benches, table,  chairs, and, in summer, two steamer loungers and parasol. The fire bowl has a grid and utensils for cooking. Firewood and firelighters provided.

 A short walk away, over a dry moat, is the private wash hut. Accessed by steps, the hut provides a stylish powerful mains connected shower, sink and toilet. Underfloor heating and a heated towel rail, ensure a cosy warmth. Egyptian cotton shower and hand towels, Faith In Nature products, including shampoo and conditioner, are provided.

Rates and Availability

The rate is £135 per night.

A minimum stay of two nights is required. For Bank Holiday Weekends and Latitude Festival, minimum stay is three nights.                                  If a one night stay is available, near the time of request, the rate is £150.

One well behaved dog is welcomed at an additional charge of £12. Two dogs maybe allowed on request, please call to enquire.                       Space for one baby in arms, at a charge of £12. Use of travel cot with mattress and sheet can be provided on request. Unsuitable for toddlers.
